16.12.2015

Member of the Automobilklub Polski, Stefan met the team Stec RallyRent and their Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X in Warsaw, to start on the last Stage of the Barbórka rally, Karowa.

With Łukasz Włoch, professionnal codriver, he discovered the World of Rally.

"I'm a track racing driver, and this is a big experince to be here at the wheel of a rally car like that.

I will learn a lot during this weekend and I thank my club, the Automobilklub Polski."

Before the first tests sessions, Stefan was with the fastest drivers and co driver of the championship at the rally official Press conference: Kajetan Kajetanowicz et Jarosław Baran, Grzegorz Grzyb et Robert Hundla, Wojciech Chuchała et Sebastian Rozwadowski, Jan Chmielewski et Grzegorz Dachowski et les Français Bryan Bouffier et Thibault De La Haye.

Karowa stage will be during the night like the test stage.

"Unfortunately I didn't drive a lot during the tests.

The 4WD of the Mitsubishi were fantastic and the few kilometers I did, helped me to be not too lost during the only start on Karowa.

I learn fast and I adapted myself to face that problem!"

Saturday night, the "Kryterium Asów" like the final stage of the rally season in the middle of the city is called.

It's like the "Monaco Grand Prix" in Poland where if you're the fastest, an exclusive trophee is waiting for you.

And it's live on Polish channel TVP Sport and on the web.

"Flames and artifices, I start on the Karowa. Short straight lines and slow corners the cars are going on the old roads of the historic center of Warsaw."

Humidity make the cars drift a lot, and spectators go crazy.

"For my first experience as a racing driver in Poland, the Automobilklub Polski gave me the opportunity to drive in very nice conditions. It was fun for me and for spectators.

Too bad I couldn't drive more the Evo X, because I'm sure I could drive faster and feel better at the wheel with the help of Łukasz Włoch".

Stefan learnt a lot: "I want to thank him for his explanations of the rally vocabulary

On a place that I never saw before, I was listening every word very carefully, and that was not so bad.

For this first rally experience with this conditions, I didn't beat any records, but really, that was not my target."

Under the team's structure, curious spectators and fans came and take pictures with Stefan.

"Rally's fans loved the show and that's great!

It's nice to meet people that are following your career on medias and websites like A3SR.com !"

Once the special was complete for every drivers, they went to the awards night with all the teams.

All the A3SR team and Stefan Romecki thank every Polish fans, the Automobilklub Polski, the team Stec RallyRent, the rally "Rajd Barborka" officials and marshals and everyone involved on this exceptional weekend!

Since a long time, Poland is the country of Rally, but it has to be represented on the biggest race in the world, LeMans 24h.

"I know that Poland will love that and will help me to run on that race, because my country has it's place at the higher of the International Motorsport!"
