Back at Dijon where Stef Romecki won the BRCC Silhouette Championship.
It was his 12th race on this famous classic French Formula 1 race track.
Arthur Bleynie was at Nogaro for the "Coupes de Pâques", so the young racing driver Victor Jabouille was Stef's teammate on the MT Racing silhouette MitJet 43.
Yes, you know this name because another Jabouille, Jean-Pierre won a Formula 1 Grand Prix on this race track, so now you'll know his son, Victor.
After the track walk saturday, sunday started with a long qualifiying session.
It's cold and wet, but the track dry after a few minutes and they can finally start to work.
Both find the pace playing with the strong aspiration on Dijon's straight.
They'll started 10th
Start ! For the 23 cars. MT Racing's are on 3rd and 5th line so they can hope for good results.
Stef quickly finds the rhythm and catch quickly the cars in front of him.
Battle started when the first wave of refueling started.
IN Box - 7th position, Victor takes the wheel and thanks to a good strategy, he didn't wait a lot before start fighting for the 2nd place.
Even if the rain threatens, the track stay dry and then we are entitled to a first safety car.
Back on track on 5th place, Stef has clear laps.
Again, thanks to MT Racing, the car works well during all race long
3rd during the most part of his stint, Victor came back P7
The Safety car is back on track.
Victor jump in the pit lane but unfortunetly, the race restart while the car is still at the box !
Stef return P7 and start a long fight for P5
Last refueling, driver change, Victor go to the end.
Still P5, he secure it until the checkered flag appeared !
